Wrong Temperatures

Too cold?

My temp is -48C

This temperature input is not connected, check your /etc/sensors.conf and find section, use "ignore tempX" statement to ignore this temperature source.

My temp is negative

Maybe switching from diode input to thermistor will help, check your /etc/sensors.conf and find section, use "set sensorX Y" statement to change the diode to thermistor. Please consult the comments in /etc/sensors.conf.

Too Hot ?

You may also check  MBM motherboard database with sensors type/input mapping.
