Installation of lm-sensors from distribution package

All major distribution has some package for lm-sensors. Usual name is lm-sensors.

In Debian, you need to issue following command to install lm-sensors binaries:

apt-get install lm-sensors

Fedora/RedHat? and others provide a lm-sensors package. You just need to install this package via the package management tool.

Possible further steps:

• If you successfuly installed the packages, please move to Kernel preparation page
• If you fail to install package or the distribution has too old version, please move to Manual install page. Do not forget to uninstall any distribution packages you had previously installed - they may interfere with new installation.
