it8705F on Soyo K7V Dragon+ not detected (Examined/Solved - lm_sensors-2.6.2 Linux version 2.4.17)

On my K7V Dragon+ board ther *is* a it8705F (i see it clearly on the board...),

but the 2.6.2 lm_sensors package seems unable to detect the chip.

If i insmod the driver it does *not* start it's it87_detect() functions, as i

could see by inserting printk()s. --- The sensors-detect part should already be fixed in CVS (what will be 2.6.3),

assuming you have an I2C bus driver we support or it's on the ISA bus.

If insmoding the driver doesn't work, you either need to

insmod i2c-isa or else you have an I2C bus driver we don't support.

If CVS or i2c-isa doesn't work email us and reference your ticket #.
