Description

I've got the i2c-vipro, eeprom and via686a modules loaded, and done the sensors

-s, but sensors just shows the following:

eeprom-i2c-0-50

Adapter: SMBus Via Pro adapter at 0400

Algorithm: Non-I2C SMBus adapter

Memory type: SDRAM DIMM SPD

SDRAM Size (MB): 512

eeprom-i2c-0-51

Adapter: SMBus Via Pro adapter at 0400

Algorithm: Non-I2C SMBus adapter

Memory type: SDRAM DIMM SPD

SDRAM Size (MB): 512

The log file however showed this when doing the load modules:

I cannot figure out why sensors wont give anything like CPU temperature info,

etc. The chipset supports it, and aparently so does lm_sensors. As you can

see, at 00:07.4, the chipset is VT82C686 (the motherboard manual lists the

chipsets as VT82C694X (VIA Apollo Pro 133A) and VIA82C686A). --- modprobe i2c-isa
