no devices /dev/i2c not found (Examined/Solved - 2.5.5)

We have the serverworks HE chipset.

I have run sensors-detect and this seams to find a p11x4 bus.

But when it comes to detecting the sensors them selves sensors-detect complains

about being able to find /dev/i2c - presuably this is created by piix4.o

I have sensors and piix4 modules loaded. --- Hello, it appears that your system is missing files it needs. This is common on

some distros, especially older ones. Easy to fix, just run (in the lm_sensors

package) prog/mkdev/mkdev.sh. That will create your /dev/i2c-* files for you.
