Description
I get this when I try to load sensors.o using 'modprobe sensors'
/lib/modules/2.4.4/misc/sensors.o: init_module: Cannot allocate memory
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including
invalid IO or IRQ parameters
All other modules load fine. I'm running Debian 2.2. --- same problem as ticket #490,
we don't have a resolution recorded,
I have sent email to that person to ask.
If you need further assistance follow up by sending mail to
sensors@… and reference your ticket number.
Sorry for the slow response.

Seems to be related to incorrect kernel configuration (??)
have made changes in i2c and lm_sensors CVS to
prevent bad configurations and initialize correctly.
