lm80 segfaults (Examined/Solved - lm_sensors 2.6.0 linux 2.4.7)

lm_sensors was compiled as a module into kernel 2.4.7

you can run sensor-detect

but wehn i try to modprobe lm80

it segfaults and comes up with the error

kernel bug at slab.c:1062

invalid operand :0000 --- Hmm.

First report we've had.

If you figure it out before we do let us know.

Follow up by emailing sensors@… and

reference your ticket number.

We fixed some initialization errors and configuration errors

in CVS (will be 2.6.1).

With 2.6.0, be sure i2c-proc and any sensors drivers

are configured as a module

to prevent problems.
