Description
Hello all,
I want to use the i2c support on my 405gpr processor based board, but the
automatic patch
does not include anything 405gpr specific into the Makefile. So I can configure
the 405GP
support, but while compiling the kernel, nothing happens. What is the correct
line I have to insert
into the Makefile to compile these drivers. What I have to enable while "make
menuconfig" to
support 405 master i2c support? (what is the difference between
i2c-algo-ibm_ocp.c and
i2c-adap-ibm_ocp.c? Do I need both?)
Thanks in advance
Juergen Beisert --- you need both modules.
seems like it ought to work.
the modules aren't compiling?
there's nothing about the modules in the patched Makefile?
it's definitely in mkpatch/mkpatch.pl...
