Description

hi,

i have a mainboard with via kt133 chipset and via686b southbridge.

compiled and installed all i2c and lm_sensors stuff and loaded all

modules proposed by sensor-detect.

but the result is: "no sensors found!" ... nada mas

don't you support the via686b or did i forget anything during installation?

here's some (hopefully useful) output:

======================= snip ===========================

/usr/local/bin # ./sensors

/usr/local/bin # lsmod

--- send us outputs of:

i2cdump 0 0x2d

dmesg output related to sensor modules

Your via686a is probably disabled and/or you have a chip

we don't support at 0x2d.

If dmesg for via686a says use force_address then try that.

Follow up by emailing sensors@…

and reference your ticket number.
