Description
Hi! After make all, and make install - I did the steps explained in the doc/modules - including adding the path of the modules to my /etc/conf.modules.. Then when doing a "modprobe -a" ..I got the following: [root@kanon lm_sensors-2.3.4]# modprobe -a argument missing for load Please specify at least one module or a wildcard like \*. [root@kanon lm_sensors-2.3.4]# I thought I did something wrong (very likely ;) - so I removed the path statement in the file again - saved and repeated the modprobe -a .....only to get the same result ? So by adding the path, I got this error message - and after removing it ...it is still there ? I am sure I did something wrong and stupid - feel free to flame me :) 'Martin --- No needs for flames - it is already hot enough over here! You need to specify the module you want to load behind the modprobe. sensors-detect should tell you which ones you need.
