lm_sensors version 2.10.2
When Q Fan is enabled in the BIOS, and the CPU fan is not at its maximum speed due to a less than max temperature, lm_sensors reports the fan speed as zero rpm, even when the fan has been visually confirmed to be spinning. When the fan is at its maximum speed due to a greater than max temperature, lm_sensors reports the fan speed correctly.
In other words, when Q Fan is limiting the CPU fan's speed, lm_sensors reports the fan speed as zero. Only at maximum CPU fan speed does lm_sensors report any fan speed other than zero.
