Description

Hi I'm a satisfied owner of a Asus F3JA AP036H with a core 2 T7200 2,0 Ghz processor I'm running ubuntu with a precompiled 2.6.19 kernel (from feisty) + lm sensors from cvs Attached are all my relevant outputs. Is there a way to take the control over my fan speed? Thanx.

Hello,

Sorry notebooks usually handle the thermal monitoring stuff at their own. You may try to load the asus-acpi extensions. And/or use the

acpi -V

Command to display the temperature. Additionally you may try the coretemp driver, which has been proposed by the sensors-detect.

Sorry notebooks handle fan speeds on their own. If no known sensors were found we can't help.
