Hi there,

in your devices section, you say only one user is interested in the PC87591 chip from winbond. Well, I think, now there are at least two... Anyway, the Acer Laptop Travelmate 292LMi (and probably the whole Travelmate 290 series) apparently requires a sensor chip driver for the winbond (formerly nat'l semiconductor) chip PC87591 ( http://www.cancullet.org/acertm29x/acertravelmate290.html#notworking). Would be awesome if you include it in lm-sensors!

Hello,

Sorry this chip has no standard way to access the sensors - this chip is in fact a microcomputer which may or may not share the sensors information with the "main" system. The way how it shows sensors depends on its programming and thus no driver can be developed. Sorry.
