Description
/etc/sensors.conf
I noticed the on my motherboards based on KT133 chip (Gygabyte, Tomato), temp1 is CPU, temp2 is SYS. It is more logical as default configuration in your sensors.conf example.
From my point of view, default configuration in your sensors.conf is not the best as it is based on some motherboard that is designed in different way as most motherboards on the market... Anyway, in most cases temp1 sensor is used for CPU, why to make it different here?
chip "via686a-*" ... # Johannes Drechsel-Burkhard <jdb@…> notes that on his MSI K7T Pro, # temp1 is the CPU temp and temp2 is the SYS temp. Hugo van der Merwe notes # the same for his Gigabyte GA-7DXC, Olivier Martin for his Gigabyte # GA-7ZM and Patrick Thomson for his Chaintech CT-5ATA.
label temp1 "SYS Temp" label temp2 "CPU Temp"
