Description (last modified by khali) (diff)

Received following message after issue make user

make: *** No rule to make target 'stdio.h', needed by 'prog/sensors/chips.rd'. Stop.

I am using Fedora Core 2 with kernel-2.6.6-1.427 and motherboard ABIT K7G with

chip VT82C868B.

--- Your system lacks files to compile about anything (not just lm_sensors). You

probably need to install the glibc-headers and glibc-devel packages. It should

work just fine after that.

The problem and solution were already explained above. This problem has nothing to do with lm-sensors, you'd have the same problem if you were trying to compile anything else. You are missing some development package on your system. In debian, I think the package providing the missing header files is libc6-dev.
