Description
Ok i installed lm sensors through dselect (debians package manager) and i ran
sensors-detect and it asks the usual question and it says detected w83781d
(Note: i already added i2c-isa and w83781d to my /etc/modules and i added the
alias it tells me too then ran /etc/init.d/modutils and i ran mod) but i type
sensors and it says no sensors found (ive even rebooted) so i ran modprobe
w83781d and it said it couldnt find it i also tryed i2c-isa (same result, not
found)
Another note: I have an Acorp 6A815EPD motherboard with one Intel Pentium 3 750
it has no ISA slots (i dont know if that makes a difference or not)
Please help im trying to get these to work so i can install an LCD in the
system for monitoring --- first upgrade to the latest sensors; 2.6.3 is old.
If that doesn't work,
send us the output of sensors-detect and the interesting
parts of dmesg after you modprobe w83781d and i2c-isa;
follow up to sensors@…, reference your ticket number.
