i2c-viapro doesn't detect VT8233A ISA Bridge (Examined/Solved - lm_sensors 2.5.6 Linux 2.4.19)

Description
I have an MSI KT3 Ulstra2 Mainboard with the VIA KT333 Chipset. I can't load the
i2c-viapro driver however. Could it be that I have an updated version of the
vt8233a isa bridge that the driver doesn' recognize? The docs speak of
device 1106:3147 (VT8233A)
whereas lspci shows 1106:3177 foe the isa bridge:

you can try adding 3177 to the supported[] table and see what happens.
